We list the ways in which you can recharge your prepaid phone connection quickly on the go.
Using your mobile phone is as easy as using your two hands. Today, the mobile phone has become like an extra limb for most of us, given the dependence we feel on the device.
However, your phone usage and whether you can continue to use your prepaid connection whenever you wish, is largely dependent on whether you have recharged the connection on time. You may never have done the recharge online, choosing to ask someone else to do it for you. But this becomes a problem if you are on your own away from home and the recharge is due. Not recharging the pack may result in your phone services being temporarily barred.
If you have a prepaid phone connection but have been asking a family member to do the online prepaid recharge for you, it may be time to do it yourself if you are away from home. It’s so easy to do as well – just follow the different options we’ve outlined for you and you’re all set:
1 Recharge via the service provider’s smartphone app. The quickest way to do the online prepaid recharge is to whip open the service provider’s app and complete the recharge steps as directed. One of the best prepaid recharge apps is the myAirtel app, which allows recharges on both Airtel and non-Airtel numbers. Just download the app on your Android phone or iPhone to complete the prepaid recharge in minutes, and also get cash back in return.
2 Recharge via the service provider’s website on your laptop. You may be away from home and suddenly remember that your prepaid recharge is overdue. If you are already logged on to the Internet, you can open your mobile service provider’s website and proceed to do the online prepaid recharge in just a few simple steps.
3 Recharge using UPI-enabled apps.UPI-enabled apps are a great way to make digital payments in utmost security and ease. You can use the BHIM app or even Google Pe to do the online recharge of your prepaid connection. The BHIM app is one of the payment options offered by the myAirtel app so you can even use it on the latter. The recharge is immediate, and you may also get cash back. However, you must first set up the UPI app with an M-pin for your phone.
4 Recharge via e-commerce sites. Leading e-commerce sites like Amazon now offer customers the chance to do prepaid recharge, online utility and phone bill payment, etc. On the home page, choose the recharge option under ‘Pay bills’ on Amazon and input your mobile number and service provider name. Now complete the recharge by entering the amount of money, and you are through.
